Hello from Japan! at Children’s Museum of Manhattan Must Go! Even Without Kids

Do you have small kids? Borrow your friend’s kids. Or, it does not matter. You should definitely go and experience today’s unique Japan. The Children of Museum of Manhattan has launched a very unique and fantastic Exhibition yesterday called Hello from Japan! https://www.cmom.org/explore/exhibits/hello_japan While enjoying fun experiences, you learn such a thing like: how many disposable chopsticks are disposed yearly. The number is a staggering 25,000,000.

The child-sized Tokyo streetscape and Shinto park – you can get a fortune reading – was built in 1500 square foot exhibition floor. The Exhibition offers children and parents, and everyone, an opportunity to learn so much about modern and traditional Japan. The contrasting of the kawaii, modern – a sort of Harajuku culture – and the more traditional serene parts of this exhibition will give the visitors of all ages, especially the children a taste of my native company. And speaking of taste, I will be participating an event under James Beard Foundation’s Family Chefs Series program.

At the press event yesterday I met with many talented Japanese and American artists who are also participating to this exhibition. Illustrator, origami teacher, cooking teacher, koto player…

Here is the event schedule.
